Sumatra Coffee
Sourced from the Aceh region near Takengon in Indonesia, this Sumatra coffee is produced by the Koperasi Baitul Qiradh Baburrayyan (KBQB), a cooperative known for exceptional quality and traditional processing. Grown at elevations of 1,100–1,600 meters, the coffee develops its signature depth and weight in the cup.
This coffee features medium acidity and a syrupy, full-bodied mouthfeel, with rich notes of dark chocolate, dried fruit, and classic earthy undertones. The finish is long, smooth, and deeply satisfying. Processed using Giling Basah (wet-hulling)—a hallmark of Sumatran coffee—this method enhances body, reduces acidity, and contributes to the coffee’s distinctive texture and savory complexity.
Crafted from a diverse mix of varietals including Tim Tim, Typica, Ateng, Onan Ganjang, and Jember, Sumatra Coffee is bold, grounding, and comforting—ideal for those who love a heavy-bodied cup with lingering richness.
